River Oaks Community Church is a life giving church, demonstrating Christ’s love and transforming power through Christ-centred relationships.
ROCC was publicly launched in the spring of 1994. As growth in ministry and people occurred, the church began planning to build a permanent meeting location. Our current facility was dedicated to the Lord in June of 1999.
Today, ROCC serves approximately 125 adults, youth and children on a weekly basis. On Sunday mornings we come together for a time of celebration and encouragement. We do this through musical praise and worship, bible teaching, prayer and fellowship.
We love our neighbours, and seek out opportunities to express the love of Jesus in practical ways to those around us. To that end, ROCC has entrenched itself in north Oakville, working together with other residents and organizations to make our community a better place. Our community activity includes the annual Village of Morrison Block Party, Outdoor Services, Summer Explosion Day Camp, Food Drives, the Halton Fresh Food Box programme, and more.
We are committed to continue growing in relationship with Jesus and with each other. You are invited to join with us on our journey as we discover God’s plan for us as a church and as individuals, growing in our relationship with Him and with each other.
